Streamer challenge observations

A lot of the complaints I’ve seen from streamer challenge participants sound very similar to the complaints we’ve all seen over and over from new/casual players mid-wipe. Some common points between the two:

  1. I’m at a disadvantage because I’m more limited in gear
  2. It’s unfair because other players seem to know where I am or where I’m going (map and spawn knowledge vs certain hot spots for the challenge)
  3. Dead raids are the best way for me to make progress
  4. I’m frustrated that I have to deal with people hunting me just because they’re bored or want PVP when I don’t

What I find most interesting is that I’ve seen plenty of popular streamers blow off these complaints, either not taking them seriously, mocking them, or just giving the “git gud” advice. That’s just tarkov so get used to it. Now they’re unintentionally experiencing as close to a timmy experience as they can get at this point, and they don’t seem to like it.
