Summary of your ED journey so far.

Elite is an open world sandbox so I'm curious to see the different journeys we all took to get to where we are now.

Mine went like this:

Sidewinder – Courier and delivery missions

Hauler – Courier and delivery missions

Cobra III – Courier and delivery missions then eventually mining

Asp Explorer – Exploration and unlocking engineers/guardian blueprints

Krait II – 1st combat ship, went to Colonia via FC taxi to unlock engineers there and became my 1st fully engineered ship

Type-9 – Dedicated cargo trader, used to unlock Lei Chung and when I just feel like trucking. Pleasantly surprised with how many credits/hour you can get from just hauling goods from one station to another

Anaconda – started out as a HazRES miner but now fully outfitted and engineered for combat. Still my main ship for mining when I feel like it

That's where I am now after about 200 hours. Next plan is to either make a fully engineered Vulture with PAs/Pacifier Frags or get my fed rank grind going for a Corvette. And finally, my ultimate goal – a fleet carrier. I'm not exactly sure what I would do with one, but I'll definitely be asking on this subreddit once I have it.
