So I watch a lot of Tarkov content and I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it can't be a coincidence that the very successful "Tarkov Punisher" tournament was done in the same week of the announcement of "Versus" by Twitch. BSG and Twitch have a mutually beneficial relationship. For Versus to run tournaments of a game Twitch must receive permission to use the IP from the Devs which I won't think in this case will be an issue. This will also help BSG keep Tarkov fresh and add this new dimension to a game that otherwise would be hard to run tournaments in. This may have been Pestilys brainchild if he had prior information about Twitch Versus or both Pest and BSG had a plan.
I personally can't see any negatives other than resources possibly going into this taking away from current development. I'm curious what peoples thoughts are?
