So in real life the front of the weapon is going to sway when moving from left to right or the other way around. Where as the back end acts as more of a pivot point.
Where as in real life if you are moving from left to right or the other way around, what’s going to happen is the front of the weapon will sway when moving but naturally the BUTT stock end is going to act as a pivot point and create a sort of angle. And you will continue to look down your sights at that angle.
In Tarkov tho the whole weapon moves as if your character was not holding the weapon at the pivot point (jammed into your shoulder), and the front and rear sights move in a simultaneous manner to the right or left. On top of that your character does not focus down his sights while aiming and moving left or right and the gun swaying creating an unrealistic effect. What it seems like is the character continues to look forward while the weapon moves Independent of him. Like it’s on its own plane in the space and time of the game engine.
I’m not sure if leveling up your gun skills in the game will have an effect on correcting this. But it really gives an unrealistic feel to the games mechanic . And in real life shooters without experience pick up on this sort of thing naturally. Correct me if I’m wrong..but I don’t think I am. Vertical recoil is kind of SHOT in this game too…but I’ve never shot an AK so I can only critique how AR platforms work.
Or maybe this is just the longest explanation of why I’m bad at this game and it’s not my fault it’s the games fault. 😂
