So the thing is, I have a friend that just bought EFT and asked if I wanted to play and ofc I say yes. And then he started to ask different questions on what to use and how to play. We're really close friends so I decided to teach him some few things (from my 1000+ hours of experience).
I started to explain some easy things to remember. And armor, helmets and headset is a must. Don't care about what weapon to use, just try and find something he feels comfortable with.
We played for 4-5 hours and every game I kinda just pushed him to do crazy things and yea we die quite a lot, but we got some really nice raids at the end, (but yea we both lost all our money aswell…) Just wanted him not to care to much and ofc not have ''Gear Fear''.
And later this week we played again and it looked like he been playing for years, really really good! And at the end he said that when I was just pushing him to do crazy things like always picking up a fight with whom ever he met and never backing off from a fight, felt like the best way to learn cause he got a really good understanding of the game. (ofc, nothing wrong to back off from a fight)
To end things off, I've never seen a EFT Beginner Tutorial on YouTube, I've seen different tips videos but mostly just for entertainment.
And if you were put in a scenario to teach a person who have never touched EFT before, what would you have teach him? Would you explain everything in clear detail or just jump into a game and let them find things out themselves?
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
