Hey everyone.
By now I am seeing that there are many different opinions about Techies. We've discussed different things that Valve can do, but I have a question. Does it make more sense for Valve to appease the people who would enjoy a hero? Or those that do not? In other words, who's feedback is more valuable? What group do they listen to? What group do they want to make happy? It is probably a mix, but I believe that those who enjoy a hero should still have a say in what happens to that hero. This does extend beyond Techies too. In the past, numerous heroes have had reworks, and those reworks have been undone, altered, and still continue to change to this day. What I'm trying to say is that hero reworks have been rather fluid, and I am trying to figure out why and if the same will happen to the Techies rework. From my posts I can tell that there is a sizeable portion of people who do *not* enjoy the current version of Techies. There are many who would like to see changes come to the hero, but it is difficult to spread awareness of this issue because of the subject matter. Simply put, it's hard to garner realistic information about how people actually feel about Techies. With my posts I've gotten a maximum of a 50% upvote rate, and I feel as though that is because of the mere mention of "Techies" rather than the ideas found within. Those who do comment make valid points both ways, but it is clear that an actual discussion needs to be had about this rework, and I feel as though these people are not being heard.
