Between new and old reddit posts and youtube videos, the ED community has made this game my 'game'.
I have a little over 400 hours played, and I just installed a pre-engineered 5A FSD into my otherwise unengineered Chieftain. I can now traverse the bubble with relative ease in my combat ship, amd swap to my dbx or aspx for excursions.
I'm well over the Elite ranking for Exploration, and have several discoveries and first to maps under my belt. I picked up Expert in Combat during the aisling CG.
First place I went with my new FSD was andecavi, just to see what Thargoids were like. Earned 420k on my first encounter and then booked it out of there.
I have PC parts on the way so i can get the new content and a better hotas.
Thank you for all the knowledgeable posts that help newbies like me learn the game
