So I tried to visit The Bug Killer today and it… didn't turn out well.
On my way there I was intercepted by a few Thargoids during hyper jump but they left me alone after scanning my ship.
Once I landed near the Anaconda I started scavenging and the Thairgoid ship showed up, which it always does.
I wasn't bothered by it as I've been there before and said "thanks for lightning up the place with your scans…. oh shit it's attacking my ship!"
I never drove faster and more focused back to my Cutter, boarded and boosted up, however it blew me up just as I was about to hyper jump.
I do have Guardian FSD boost and did have The Ancient Key with me so one of them or both were the reason I got attacked, but why did I not get attacked by the ones that intercepted me before or after I got killed (since it happened again as I was leaving the system cursing and threatening revenge on the fracking aliens).
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
