With the new Guardian/Thargoid interaction going on and with the Project Seraph escapee D-2 still out there, reminds me of Salomé and that storyline. My prediction is that D-2 is going to become our new VIP and we might be able to get an ambassador with the Thargoids.

My Theories:
D-2 sent out a message that they are going to hunt the Witch. This reveals that D-2 is still out there and is available as a pawn of the developers.
I think the Witch is dead. Having been killed by Thargoids or the backfiring wave. This leaves the kingpin of Azimuth out of the picture. Through CG's of research and maybe someone taking over Azimuth's databases we can refine the Human/Thargoid Interface.
The bubble is going to burn, there is little chance in my mind that the Thargoids won't counterattack. The developers teased this with the incursions into some of the bubble, although I think that may have been the Witch luring them in. This is going to make the big 3 desperate for something.
I also think that the Thargoids are going to attack ground bases. We have on-foot combat, I would be surprised if they didn't use it.
The Thargoid cult is a secondary option for an ambassador. There was some Galnet articles about a fake leader appearing. Possible Red Herring.

I do have a heavy bias that I normally pick the peaceful options when playing video games and would love to see some other meaningful interaction with the 'Goids than shooting them. I just wish I had more time to play this game and experience what's going on.

I've only been playing since 2020 so anyone got something to poke holes in my theories?
