The balance is complete garbage

I am playing this game since the closed beta and the balance is complete joke. You still have reinfri that plays 20+ points for 14 provision. The new scenarios can go up to 30 points for 14 provisions if left unanswered. Meteor shower is easily 60 points and it is just overkill overall.

Every deck has to include yrden/igni and heatwave, no exceptions.

I love when my opponent slaps reinfri and gets 8 point delete with 6 point delete on top in the last round. You just can’t develop a board. Previously this game was about developing your board and interacting with opponents board. Now it is greatswords all over again.

Everyone just slaps points, everyone is playing same 3 decks that either include new scenario or reinfri.

Elves for some stupid reason have 3 4 point point guaranteed delete with milva. No other factions has this even dedicated control ones like nilfgaard.

All you see is monster reinfri shower, elves movement milva new scenario, elves deadeye quadruple ambush and raid stack skellige. Every single deck, not even card variations, no rotations, every deck has same things.

Maybe it the damn time to go back to provisions = points? Because half of the card can’t even reach 1.5 provision division, especially control ones. Nilfgaard amnesty is still 3 point while every engine in the game was changed to have 4 base power. Most old bronzes play for 6-7 while new bronzes play for at least 9. Many 4 provision bronzes from the new-ish expansions can easily break 10 points, 5 provisions now slap 10-11 while also having synergies.

It’s not even about interesting decks and choices, it’s all about efficiency and new cards are just too damn efficient not to include them. New scenarios, meteor and reinfri all have provision/points ratio that none other cards have.

Stratagems are completely outdated, average of 5 points can’t compete with 1 card anymore while it could at launch. You are at complete disadvantage on blue, stratagem doesn’t provide enough boost at all. Also, crystal skull is picked in almost every game over any other stratagem except some outliners. How can one stratagem be objectively better than others? This stratagem allows you engine to persist through the whole round unless heavy control is applied while most other stratagems just slap 5 points in one form or another.

The game balance is in a very bad plays and has been in the gutter for over a year. Most known old streamers left. Everyone netdecks with braindead slap cards. I don’t see interactions anymore.
