Hello.

The Defender Status has problematic interaction in the game. Against any defender, you have to have a Purify card. Developer team also knows this problem, they buffed almost all Purify cards before.I understand the reason and I'm supporting the idea, without them some of the cards will be unusable.

Because of these issues, I think we have to brainstorm on this issue. What is the reason the defender card exists in the game? Keeping some valuable units from any harm.

Here's my rework ideas for all defender cards.

You have to prep your coins or use your leader before the setup, this is why he has the body. Almost every faction has 6 power removal, I think he won't be problem. Salamandra's bless are powerful but if they fail, they'll mess. You have to careful playing with them.

Many of the monsters units which played behind the defender has big points, or more points than 5. If you won't prepare your side, probably the unit which you want to hide will be the biggest one. At least you should've consumed unit on this row to hide a unit behind it.

Pirates and Armor is the approach. With giving the extra armor on the unit which you want to keep in the safe might be safe with that armor.

You have to control Donimir, if you want to get rid of units. Even he gets the insane amount of points, you can still lock that unit or Korathi it.

Ffion gives you an extra chance to keep your unit safe. Playing Petri's Philter on this deck might be useful for making combo at least for one card.

Harmony was something for Scoia'tael but no more. As you can see Figgis requires little bit prep, but he might be the most powerful one.

I'm open for any idea about reworks.
