Frontier Foundry's 'Stranded: Alien Dawn' (see the trailer here) early access two months ago. Like an early Elite history proto-Cobra Mk I or Sidewinder. Stranded crew on an ELW scenario. Which is very possible per stories of lost colony ships and isolated growing civ planets of Elite lore and also some stories in the official ED books.

Then, Frontier Foundry's coming game, "Deliver us Mars" (trailer here), which shows more interactivity in an ED Odyssey looking style. (gameplay trailer)

So have patience, as usual. ED , post Odyssey will be expanded with Frontier's current and future tech also cross-dev'd from their other games and will make it back into ED in years to come I still believe.

Back in 2016-'19, the usual naysayers and trolls bashing ED and the development had often said "Spacelegs will never happen".
And it did happen, where BOTH initial Spacelegs AND first Atmospherics did happen with Odyssey. Now Odyssey is vastly fixed and improved and a testament to FDev's ongoing commitment and sincerity to fix and solve challenges that came in the way and for the future. Braben is still on as president of Frontier, so of course the vision for ED and the Elite franchise should continue in years to come. It just takes up to years of patience as usual.
