Recently been feeling the tarkov bullshit extra strong (especially on weekends) where hackers and bugs make me want to throw my pc out of my second story window. Been playing squad a lot instead, it's a well polished game with frequent updates, involved devs, and more importantly devs that actually communicate with their playerbase. I was thoroughly surprised when I realized that OWI (the squad dev team) only has 40 members. The fact that a dev team that's half the size of bsg and with a fraction of the bankroll can create a more refined product than tarkov is extremely unsettling. Community manager positions have been recommended in the past by the community, shit never happened. Streets and arena pre 2023? I sincerely doubt it. We were told about in game traders coming this wipe, something that realistically shouldn't be that hard to at least put in the game (excluding balance which could be optimized based on COMMUNITY FEEDBACK) still isn't out. Despite the smoothing of player models while they move, everyone still desyncs their left testicle off. We have been complaining about the same issues since I bought this game in 2018. After the many many many millions in which BSG has pocketed, the consumer keeps getting the short end of the stick. Game is sick at its core premise, but its execution is god-awful, something we only endure because no one else has made something remotely similar to the vibe given off by tarkov.
Personal note to any BSG affiliated readers: Play your own fucking game for once, the selective realism is backwards as hell and your lack of reception to community feedback is kind of embarrassing.
