The state of dota 2 today from a returning players perspective

Decided to reinstall dota 2 after about 6 years break (3000 hours logged). Initial returning solo player experience:

– Abandon/Rage in about one of three games (mind you I have 10k behaviour which seems to be the highest?) this has always been a problem though, not much improvement in this field but sad to see that players don't get a higher penalty for abandoning ranked games (like permaban).

– Constant fighting over lanes, leading to grief. I've never seen this much fighting over lanes before. Even when adding people to ignore list I get matched with the same people in the following games which is frustrating.

– Extremely inconsistent matchmaking, some games I literally get an "easy bot" as mid player and others I see players who I highly doubt belong to the same bracket (insanely good coordination and awareness overall)

Also: Did the brackets get shifted lower at some point? Or do I just suck at dota. (I believe the latter.)
