So today is the release of update 14, since reading of the update I have done some digging and have seen that ED has functionally been cancelled on consoles so the devs can focus on space legs.
Since the update I haven't been able to get on ED and I'm confronted with a maintenance message. I have also read that it is going into permanent maintenance mode due to the cancellation.
Sad to see since I have just recently got into the game and bought an anaoconda as well as starting the engineering grind.
I understand the devs have to allocate more resources to develop space legs but surely completely removing ED from consoles is a bad move? Regardless if we get space legs players can still play the game as is and enjoy some aspect of the game.
If anyone has any information that contradicts this please let me know as id love to know I have a chance to play elite one more time for the foreseeable future… ._.
