Not saying that every one was a bot, but after watching this video https://youtu.be/7chd4vci0Zs and myself being suspicious from the start lets be honest the numbers just don’t add up to a logical person. No other game in the HISTORY of twitch has ever has such a successful marketing campaign, and when you dive deeper like this youtuber did it just starts to confirm my own suspicions, now I understand the die hard fans will refute this claim with various comments like it’s “holidays” or there was a “special” on the game or “twitch drops” etc but lets be real the numbers just don’t add up loads of games do this EFT is nothing especially amazing. I personally was so curious about the massive overnight success out of the blue I googled “view bot escape from tarkov twitch” and found this video.
Look I’m more than happy to be proven wrong, facts will always win over fiction or conspiracy for me so I’m more than happy to be proven wrong (please do I’m all ears) but I just can not logically wrap my brain around the stats like unique chatters vs viewers.
You can watch the vid linked from 10:49 where he really starts to get into it or just watch the whole thing. But something realistically just does not add up at all.
Edit: Don’t the twitch drops get wiped anyway? So again what’s so special about them?
Edit 2: Yes I know people just left the stream on idle still doesn’t add up, especially as most people barely even reach max level in this game apart from the die hard fans that have time to play every single day. Add this with concurrent player numbers, your twitch drops getting wiped anyway, vs the amount of overnight viewer success there’s something off here.
