I've been wanting to say this for a while. What an amazing game. The amount of time you can sink into it for the price. I've played for almost 700 hours now, after spending $20. Valheim just speaks to me in a way no other game ever has. Growing up, I played Minecraft non-stop. After that I played Mount & Blade and LoL non-stop. Then Valheim released. It has to be my favorite game ever. Sure, it's in early access, but it feels complete, and the fact that it'll be a while until it is finished simply excites me. If it was released after completion, sure, I'd still be playing heaps, then burnt out with the knowledge that that's it. BUT this current state, being kept informed by the amazing devs, it feels like a journey. With each biome update, it'll be like your world has expanded a whole bunch. New things to do, reasons to return to all your old settlements and builds that you've done. Memories. The exploration is great. The difficulty is awesome and balanced. The combat is fun (flying punches everywhere with the flesh rippers). The building… oh man. Who needed that month spent playing anyway?
Thank you Iron Gate. Valheim has brought me joy, inspiration, and is one hell of a fun game. Thank you community for being so active and interested in the game. I have reddit almost purely for this subreddit, and Twitter ONLY for Valheim and its devs. I love Valheim. Valheim IS love. Valheim is life. Valheim Valheim. Hoym noym. Me hoyminoy. Hoymage. Thank you.
P.S HEARTH AND HOME WAS A GOOD, BALANCED UPDATE FOR FOOD.
