As a veteren of this game way back when the only armor was fort armor and paca Im always trying to get more friends into it. however the game is just not new user friendly at all with things like not giving information on where extracts are and where to find quest items are. You cant argue its part of the hardcore experience of it not telling you what to do or that its immersive this way. Literally what everyone has and will do is look it up online. Its such a dumb entry gate that only takes you away from ther game. Having to to google where this avialable extract is or where exactly a quest item is only takes more time away from the game whether youre in a raid or not. There's absolutely no immersion or "learning" experience of having to alt tab and quickly google something because you dont know or simply forgot where something is.
Im not saying to pinpoint every item and have a waypoint right where it is. Im asking to give people are direction and give them the information they NEED in game. Maybe show a map and highlight the small area where a quest item is and they will still have to pinpoint it in the room or have extracts names on the map in the are they are. They dont have to show the exact door to walk to but give a general direction, give some hints, clarify if something needs a key or a switch, actually give players something to learn from. On top of all the time people spend doing tetris and fixing up loadouts and waiting to actually find a game. Why are we making it a "hardcore" experience to google everything
