In my opinion of course, but just wanted to rant to the most positive community out there. Before this game, I was exclusively a COD/Racing/Sports gamer. I had grabbed my first PC right before this came out and decided to give it a shot (also my introduction to mouse and keyboard). My buddy and I played it all the way through together, and I did a playthrough on a solo world. Mistlands dropped, we started over with some QOL mods this time to power through to mistlands, enjoying every second once again. Now that it's out on Xbox, we're on night 3 if a new, almost full vanilla server of friends and it is such a blast. Watching a group of 7 try and poke a troll to death with flint spears, seeing everyone's first tree death or fall damage death because they forgot to eat. At some point I'm sure I'll have more than 10 people fighting for spots on the server. Having a bunch of friends who have never played a game like this side message me telling me how much they enjoyed it and can't wait to hop on again is great. And I know it will open the door to other games for them, since I picked up Valheim I've played New World, Grounded, SOTF, Elden Ring, Icarus. Games I never would have thought about, and my entire outlook on gaming has changed.
I've seen this stated by others here so I know a lot of you feel the same, but I will restart this game every single time a new friend wants too, it is just that good, and every experience feels unique.
So shout out to the creators, the devs, the community, for such an amazing experience.
TLDR: If you haven't started playing, do it. If you already have, do it again.
