DLSS
I remember being impressed when the implementation was announced.
However, very few people have used it since its implementation, or none at all.
The reason is clear.
It is because there is a ghost phenomenon like an afterimage in high magnification scopes.
I remember that this was an old version that was implemented and that BSG said it would be cured if they updated it, but BSG said that updating it would cause other problems, and it was not updated for a while.
But now Tarkov's DLSS is 2.3.1.0 and I think it has probably been updated since it was first implemented.
The latest version is 2.4.12.
It is a little disappointing that BSG has fixed the file and manual updates are not possible.
DLSS has some good points.
That is the FPS improvement and the least jaggies.
It is a good choice for playing with equal magnification scopes etc.
FSR
This is an AMD technology, but the great thing is that it is also available on NVIDIA graphics boards.
FSR 1.0 was quite blurry and did not increase FPS much.
I got the impression that TAA by itself works well.
The release of FSR 2.1 will change this assessment.
1440p+FSR 2.1 will be at a level where you will not feel any difference from FHD+TAA.
Mip Streaming
Mip Streaming was revamped after a glitch, but it is no longer as effective as before and is no longer used due to frequent crashes.
The FPS does not increase, and many people feel that there is not much change in the settings, and most people think that the previous version was better.
The previous version disappeared due to a fatal bug that caused body parts of players over 150m to disappear (reverse IR).
This may not have been an option.
However, there is a good point. That is that it considerably reduces the memory usage of the graphics board.
It should work well for older graphics boards or those with low memory capacity (untested).
The main issue.
Here is what I would like to say, or rather, what features I would like to see implemented.
Both DLSS and FSR are currently only available up to Quality.
I would like to see Ultra Quality implemented.
I am assuming that it is probably out of the way due to the lack of performance difference, but then wouldn't you want to choose Ultra Quality for better image quality?
