Thoughts on the future Blood Pressure mechanic

Just thought id open up a discussion for a planned mechanic in the future

Blood Pressure

Right now, the "numbers" for it exist in your health screen, but don't change or do anything

What im hoping it does, is change the way the health system "plays out"

Right now, we kinda have a "MechWarrior" type health system, where damage spread over many body parts means relatively little

While that makes sense for Machines, it doesn't really work for Human combat and can result in really outlandish situations where you can do 300+dmg to the body to a target in a burst, but not really get anything out of that as nothing CRITICAL was hit

Blood Pressure could be that unifying aspect of the health system, that helps multiple wounds add up more aggressively to give the health system less of a "compartmentalized" feel, and more of a unified system that is being compromised

Blood loss is the #1 killer on the battlefield

It could be that on top of the HP damage caused by every hit, (as we have now) each hit ALSO detracts from your Blood Pressure (blood loss) as a total system

This way, if we had say, 4 hits, one to each limb, this would ACTUALLY be cause for concern, whereas now, as long as they don't black them, 4 hits spread out really doesn't mean much

Individual wounds can quickly add up to incapacitate your character, and lead to "unconscious"

(Also a future planned mechanic)
