So we are all patiently waiting for the lighthouse expansion which should come relative soon (?). The big question is if this expansion/ update is gonna have a wipe to it. I'd personally don't see a reason to wipe for an expansion, but at the same time from playing this game for over 3 years, I know that we have wiped for MUCH LESS. Wipes nowdays is rarely because of the "techincal side". Wipes nowdays is more of a progression reset where the playerbase feels like it has becomes stale.

The BIG and the main question here is how far Streets of tarkov have been developed. It's been awhile since we saw anything regarding Streets. Lately all we've heard of have been that the devs are "flying through the developer cycle" for streets and that streets will most likely be released as a "part" serie where they will release sections of streets later on.
I know all the Streets memes going around and from someone that's been playing this game every single wipe since 2017, I'm fairly confident that some part of Streets will come out THIS year or atleast very early next year. This is all based on BSG's statement of wanting to finnish and announce the big future of this game. I have a big feeling that BSG just want to announce the launch of Tarkov as soon as possible, since it's been developed for a quite few years.

• Theory 1:Lighthouse exp and Streets will release in Summer/ late summer with a wipe. (Most unlikely but most copium)
• Theory 2:Lighthouse exp will come with a wipe that will be one of those wipes just for the sake of progression and to buy time for Streets. This theory means that Streets are not ready and will come out later by late fall/ winter for another wipe.
• Theory 3:Lighthouse exp will come out in summer but WITHOUT a wipe. The theory behind this is that BSG wants to give us new content just for them to buy more time to finnish Streets which should come 3-4 months after Lighthouse expansion which should be around autumn time frame.

Lemme know what you guys think, this is just my thoughts right now. Nothing is confirmed, just tinfoil hat discussion.
