I will preface this by stating that i am ranting and venting after a loss.
It has been pointed out on multiple occasions that Tinker's win rate is and has been above ~55% across basically all MMRs – for what feels like the last year. As far as I have been keeping track, the same seems to be true for Arc Warden. I understand that a lot of practice goes into learning some heroes etc etc., but sorry – what?
I am just a sour Archon complaining about balance, sure, nothing new to see here. But theoretically and conceptionally, heroes such as Wraith King, Ogre and Crystal Maiden should have high win rates in low/medium mmr – not because of how good they are, but because of how relatively easier they are to pilot and execute for lower level players. Yet for some reason, Arc and Tinker are the same pests they are at higher levels. This leaves only two explanations:
I am struggling to understand how both of these issues can continue to go unaddressed for years. I have been trying hard to improve, but I dread queuing up for Pos 2 as I am afraid I am gonna go up against some smurfing Arc Warden (who, like last game, instalocks the hero first rotation and continues to play way above Archon level on every aspect of the game), then lose lane and get flamed by team mates for not being able to beat someone I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BEAT. This makes the gmae super un-fun, not because of losing, but because I am literally afraid of experiencing this scenario over and over again.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
