Tip for non-support players playing support

You can help soak damage in lane especially during fights, it is preferable to be targetted instead of core as long as you don’t die
Get salves and tango for core (maybe even get their starting tango) gold spent on heals is gold not spent on stats and stuff
Don’t just leave lane, maybe ask them or tell them you are ganking mid or pulling since they are most vulnerable when you are away especially if enemy knows that (most carry death happens during pulls)
Learn how to half pull so that the small camp doesn’t die with lots of surviving creeps, deny 1 melee and 1 range is enough
Sometimes, you need to time yours skill to when enemy is running to burst them
Learn to hard deny please, that is, attacking you own creeps as long as they are below 50% hp
Learn to trade and when to do it, if enemy has a pa or someone how can help long range, dont get in a 1v1 against enemy support
