Although there are a decent number of decks in the meta rn I feel there are too many answers or lose kind of cards in the game. Some examples include: the entire alumni deck, sigvald, melusine, crach etc. The most serious offenders imo are melusine and students/alumni where either you kill all students every turn or they will just have massive alumni later or heatwave melusine otherwise you the op will just ress a 20 point melusine r3 to win. Over time CDPR has added these types of cards which can just win a game by themselves which I dont think is good for any card to be able to do. It basically forces every deck to run heatwave. What do you guys think?
Edit: the original post was a bit short but i feel I should have mentioned a lot of other things like double kelly, double defender, witches Sabbath reviving defender plus 2 fledgers, messengers of the sea, even good old king foltest commandos although alumni imo is basically better at abusing carryover.
Compare everything mentioned above to something like harmony/ hidden cache passiflora/ boosty nr engines with drummers tridam / etc. These decks don't have those "answer or lose" cards so feel much more weaker. I would argue to tone down these cards so that it's not every patch being just what new cards are printed that are answer or lose in a cycle over and over again.
