I have a ton of hours in Tarkov and played since day one so I got a bit bored after all this time. But as we all know it is hard to get that itch scratched like tarkov does, in my time away from tarkov I played various games but one of them was the game deadside which is a very casual standalone game that is becasilly exile mod for dayz.

The AI in Deadside are bullet sponges and that is endlessly annoying to me as I enjoy realism, so when I went back to tarkov I thought it would be great as finally realism and bullets mean something….but now I can put round after round into scavs and they just moan and bleed and run or walk away to get cover, then I shoot them more and then more and finally they die.

A friend was watching my game on discord while we talked and I was explaining how the scavs now are just bullet sponges and how dumb it feels, he didn't believe because it is tarkov why would that happen.
But literally during the streaming, he is confused and saying how fucked it looks to shoot a scav point blank with various weapons and not instantly kill them or kill them within 2-3 shots.

TLDR Why are scavs like the AI from a RPG and can survive so many hits, it just feels off, players easy to down with a couple of shots but scavs somehow need so much more.
