4Game

So after getting swatted around by trolls a few times I decided it was time for revenge. My fort is fairly close to the black forest and a couple times they've decided to raid my place. I dug a trench about 12-14 feet deep and maybe a couple hundred feet long half way between my fort and the forest. In the middle of this trench is a perpendicular trench running 90 degrees, and about 20 feet long into a "pit". My original plan was to lure the trolls into the pit. Turns out they arent keen on jumping into this pit. But, they were sure keen on standing at the end of it (swinging fruitlessly since I was so far below them) while I shot them in the face until they died. I have now basically mangled 3 of them. The troll has been tamed.

Of course, the first time I tried my trap out, I didnt clear all of the trees in the immediate vicinity so I got crushed by a few falling trees (in the pit/trenches) that the troll took out in his vain attempt to turn me into a pile of bloody corpuscles. Lesson learned, vikings. Area clear. Troll trap is working flawlessly. Now I just need to figure out how to find the materials I need for metal craft. Preferably without getting maimed by skeletons in a crypt. 🙂
