Turning off team chat has drastically improved DOTA2

99% of team chat is flaming team members.

There is nothing that needs to be said during a dota match that can't be communicated with the in-game action commands and pings.

The game is just a million times better without having to listen to whining, build questioning, and other absolute nonsense.

I know communication is essential in DOTA, but spending time reading or listening to players screaming at you in the middle of a team fight doesn't actually provide any value to me.

Most of the time people scream commands in a team fight and I just assume they see something I dont, but they're actually just wrong and misjudging the limits of my own character.

Maybe its just me, but I have a hard time thinking in the thick of it if people are yelling shit.

Since turning off team chat, there hasn't been any period where i've thought to myself "dang, i wish we could haven't communicated this better". I don't feel like I've missed anything at all, but simply gained a stronger inner peace while playing.
