Very recently, I've adopted playing with others. All of which are late game and veterans with EoD. We talk about mission progression and what there is to work for.

TL;DR : The pain feels good, and will slow down your rocket ship to late and high level play. I'm still excited for new content and more for the game.

Part 1 : The Pain feels so GOOD !

The pain of thinking about your stash, the sorting, the complete lack of money you have at all times. The absolute exuberance you get from finding alot of GOOD shit and deciding on what you want to fit in your Butthole mid game because you have a 2×2 case.

Its slower, its more painful, upgrading your stash takes longer, quests like Punisher are not a just for Fun but almost required. There's so much joy when you do actually get to switch out the butthole for a gaping one, or hit second base with Therapist 😉

The Hideout takes longer to form and many entirely ignore it because you dont need it when have good standings with traders and accelerating to that late game.

Part 2 : Cry about it – "..missing new content.."

A large point when discussing it was, "Then I'm behind, ill fight someone who will have an EoD badge when I die and know if I just had EoD I could have been where they're at in progress already and now I'm dead and further behind"

"I don't want to miss out on new content when I'm still focused about my stash and maintenance things" because every wipe is promised new great content, only to which we sprint to boredom once again.

Having EoD and then not playing when you've have it, will feel like you will be behind by default. Not only because you're used to it, but also its harder to find someone who doesn't have EoD than does.

Summary : It doesn't fix things, you dont have to take anything from this, Fuk U, ill see you out there!

Not playing with EoD will NOT make MORE of a game, but it will take longer to get to the "I have everything" mindset and the pain you endured to GET THERE, will want you to enjoy the leisure you now have.

And about the KAPPA and The Collector. A lot of people don't go for Kappa because Gamma is well over good enough, I still haven't met someone who even thought about going for it especially if they have the Gamma.
