Weekly, if not more frequently, there is a post in the hot section talking about how Tarkov Shooter Pt 8 needs changed now that woods is bigger. I could not disagree more.

I will say this wipe it probably took me 25-30 raids to finish this quest, and I still don’t have a problem with it. Out of those raids I probably had 12-15 where I got 2 pmc kills and either never saw a 3rd or never got a shot at him. Was is aggravating? Yes. Did it really add anything to the game besides keeping me busy for a few days? Not really.

However, quests are really the only thing there is to do in Tarkov atm. Wipe happens, you grind Kappa, then either keep playing and chasing PMC kills or keep playing to max out your hideout. But why is everyone in such a hurry to finish what is basically the only point of the game? Shouldn’t you want more quests that offer a legit challenge? I would rather grind out hard quests than do 100 where you enter a raid, Mark something, and leave.

This is one of the few quests that challenges people and it is absolutely fine the way it is.

Side note: in the posts complaining about this quest everyone always says “it’s so rng based” so I just want to clarify. THIS IS NOT RNG. Rng means randomly number generated. Nothing and I mean NOTHING about this quest relies on rng, expect maybe spawns but they really aren’t random either.
