So I’ve recently started doing combat missions after saving up by doing tons of passenger missions. I’ve got a small grip on the straightforward assassinations but I tried doing the “urgent kill orders” where it wants me to hack a terminal in a specific place. I was able to hack one once by driving my SRV into a base on a moon but I just kind of fumbled through it but also acquired a bounty by doing it.

I tried flying close to a terminal to see if I could hack it from the ship and had the same thing happen. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to use the D scanner, comp scanner and could t seem to figure it out and I’ve really tried looking for some sort of instructional video and can’t seem to find any. I really want to branch out from just straight assassinations. I’m hoping for some help, and honestly if someone has a link to a video that explains how to do every mission type that would be amazing. I don’t want to just do the same missions over and over, but bumbling my way through this stuff via trial and error isn’t very fun and can get frustrating.

Thanks in advance. Just FYI I’m still very new to this game so I might need things explained in detail. I can navigate systems but I’m still figuring out what everything in the ships do. I currently have a vulture, crusader with fighter for combat missions.
