Ever since FIR was added to the game, PVP just isn’t the same. PMC loot only being able to be sold to traders makes it not lucrative, and honestly, anti-climatic.
To counter this, what if BSG had a “used” status for gun parts, armor, etc. that were “FIR” from PMCs you killed or found dead in raid.
Example #1: a dead PMCs TV rig could be looted and sold on the flea market with a “used” status. The armor could have its effective durability dropped from 85 to 75 and any armor damage would be reduced to the same percentage.
Example #2: the gun from a dead PMC could be sold with the durability taking a 10-20% hit once posted for sale on the flea. The parts could also be sold with a “used” status that would reduce the guns durability at a smaller percentage (maybe -2% for ever used weapon part bought on the used flea market).
I am struggling to see how this wouldn’t be a beneficial addition to the game (percentages could be optimized – mine was just for example sake). It’s a healthy balance of keeping people from constantly just PVPing but also makes killing a PMC more lucrative. It also would add the ability for lower tier players to buy a larger variety of items at a balanced rate.
