The amount of times you get queued into a game thats just lost based on player mentality, skill knowledge and intentional griefing just completely ruins the competitive purpose of ranked nowadays. US East immortal is just a 4k bracket quality game now, skill is gone from player mentality and how much they actually know from being passive boosted by teammates who are on alt accounts and even EU west in 6k mmr range now is just horrible to even play out. Its no wonder people are constantly posting about smurfs in lower bracket cause the gameplay in higher bracket is the equivalent, so why lose MMR on a main that you care more and just actually play on a smurf/alt. Role Performance alone is the shittiest competitive matchmaking system to have in a game like Dota where mechanics you learn takes years almost for most players and they still even learn new interactions after spending countless hours. I really dont know how after 2 years people just dont bat an eye to how atrocious the matchmaking system has been since the update that introduced this system. Either actually consider adjusting it to make the skill level even remotely worth to play out or start punishing players in ranked for their lack of skill in their rank. Its beyond inflated at this point where people are and it needs correction, otherwise whats the point in even trying to grind out MMR if its all the same skill quality?
