What did you learn this wipe that you wish you knew earlier? Small basic tips you learned that -may- be obvious to others.

There is a lot to learn in this game, and this time I’m specifically talking about the things that you didn’t know you could do. Kinda hard to explain but below are a few examples that led me to making this thread. Newbies or Vets we don’t know what we don’t know. Let’s share!

  1. I didn’t know you could put a thermal on a mount(such as a svd low mount) and turn it into a one slot item that you can put in your pouch.

  2. The annoying green notification above your handbook? Recently showed my friend you can click that green number and it disappears so you don’t have to see the 99+ things you haven’t clicked on yet.

  3. Control+click an item to instantly grab it and put it in your vest/pockets/bag/pouch. Alt+Click to instantly equip a item.

There are many to list but what are some of the ones that you wish you would have known earlier?

I’m eager to see some responses because I think it’s very helpful for all players as there really isn’t a guide of all things like shortcuts/inventory management/etc that aren’t necessarily gameplay components. This was my first wipe so I’m sure there is stuff I don’t know that I would appreciate to learn.
