Elves are notoriously relying on golds to make their deck work, and it didn’t help at all that they severely lack thinning cards. Aelirenn is pretty much the only elf card that helps thin your deck. It’s that 5 power card that is relatively east to trigger and can help increase your tempo and have always been popular among deadeye ambush players.

I haven’t played deadeye ambush as much these days (partly about the nerf and almost half of my wins are already from it so I should try something else!) but recently I have seen people playing Deadeye Ambush without Aelirenn. But what’s the most striking is Magpie also chose to cut Aelirenn for his deadeye ambush deck (the only deadeye deck in the tournament btw) so maybe she has indeed fallen out of the meta and it would be better to pick additional golds for more synergy with The Heist? What do you think?
