Cryptocurrency is becoming increasingly popular, and it appears that everyone is investing in this relatively new field. That is why blockchain technology has piqued the interest of every major industry.
The gaming industry appears to be among the first to adopt this technology, but what do you think the future of blockchain gaming will be?
I must say and I believe all of you would agree that is now a significant crossover between the blockchain and gaming communities. People who are interested in blockchain are likely to be interested in and participate in gaming. The popularity of NFTs in the gaming industry is an example of this, with many rare and valuable NFTs being traded within games.
Maybe the best example of trading NFTs and earning assets is WAM which lets you participate in tournaments to win numerous rewards, I've always loved that type of gaming concept because I love to compete.
What type of games suits you the most?
I find it very interesting that if current trends continue, blockchain-based gaming could become a compelling cryptocurrency use case, upsetting the massive global gaming industry. Overall, blockchain gaming has a lot of potentials: the global gaming industry is expected to grow to USD 314.40 billion by 2026. According to current estimates, the number of online gamers is one billion and growing — nearly one in every seven people on the planet.
