After seeing the new changes to pen and damage I'm confused, Why did BSG think it was necessary to buff 7.62×39 PS when it is already considered a contender for the best early wipe round. And why did they think they should nerf damage on 5.45 which everyone agrees is already too low and the pen changes don't make up for it. Is there any decent round in 5.45 that can 2 tap thorax now? Definitely not if your enemy has armor. 5.45 was considered so weak that it was borderline unusable and BSG decided to lower its flesh damage, It would make sense if 5.45 had very low recoil but that isn't how it is. It's still hard to control and scavs can still survive two high-tier rounds to the head. Ammo like Igolnik and BS just isn't worth using when you can headshot people and they'll survive and it can take up to 4 rounds to kill someone to the thorax even if you pen their armor. I thought BSG didn't like metas and they liked variety but they just solidified the 7.62 meta. They barely lowered the recoil on 5.56 and 5.45 guns too where they feel like they're shooting much more powerful rounds than they are due to the recoil. On top of that, they decided that fucking 9×19 Pst gzh was too powerful for level 1 traders when it was already barely worth using early wipe. It can barely pen tier 2 and they decided it needs to be moved to trader level 2. There I was hoping BSG would balance 9×19 so I could actually use it this wipe. Compare .45 ACP to 9×19, .45 ACP performs better in every way and the UMP45 was meta for early wipe last wipe. At the same time, everyone thought 9×19 felt like Airsoft guns and yet they decided that Pst was too good for level 1 traders? This is even worse late game where .45 ACP AP is one of the best SMG rounds in the game and it's cheap on traders while AP 6.3 isn't even on traders despite AP 6.3 being worse in every way. And right now the PP-19 has about the same recoil as .45 ACP even though it's a much lighter round. I'm sick and tired of the only viable rounds being 7.62. Did BSG not hear anything the community said last wipe or something?
