When it comes to weapons in EFT does anyone feel like most weapons that are supposed to be the best are often not even worth running? Just too expensive or feel uncomfortable to run? Looking at the AS VAL for example.

I just wanted to bring forth this question, because I am the type of player who wants to feel like he is getting his moneys worth out of his weapons. So when ever I play there tends to be a lot of weapons that are at the top of the food chain that I would say, I cannot ever be comfortable running unless I happen to find one in raid or build up an insane bank account late in the wipe. I am specifically talking about weapons like the AS VAL, T-5000, T-X15, even the Mk47's price points make it hard for me to have a desire to run them. I just feel like when you talk about bang for your buck the top weapons in EFT just don't offer much of an upgrade in most cases to warrant their price points. I don't know maybe because I don't use those weapons enough they feel terrible to use but with some more practice I will see what all the raves about but over the last like 4 years of playing. No weapons other than a modified AKM or M4 have itched that feeling of always being worth the investment.
