There is something special about how Valheim sucked us all in. And its been out for over a year. And it took like 2 years to make before EA launch initially by 1 person then 4 more.
People have seen its success and magic in the game design.
So where are the people ripping it off with their own spin on it?
The DLLs got reverse engineered by modders just after launch. Its not hard to rewrite code slightly different; compared to writing it in the first place.
So where are the clones?
Im not asking anyone to share their names if there are. I believe there aren't any particularly similar and am genuinely interested why its not being done. I have seen adverts for mobile games using a fake valheim building system which isnt even in the mobile game. But thats the closest I've seen. Usually when something reaches super success you can expect copycats to appear.
