As we all know, no one hardly tries for Elite in CQC even when going for elite in all other ranks. That is because (1) CQC is very sparsely populated and (2) the rank grind is the absolute WORST.
To put things in perspective, to max out your prestige status in CQC you would need to prestige 8 times, which requires getting to rank 50 each time. Getting to rank 50 takes 268,758 exp. Assuming you optimally complete nearly flawless matches (1,000 xp) every 10 minutes it would take you 268 games or about 45 hours (2 days) of continuous play. Do that 8 times for max prestige and you are at about 16 days of continuous flawless play. Fine. Not a great grind, but doable.
The rub is once you have done that you are still about 11 days of continuous flawless play from hitting Elite rank, with nothing left to progress within CQC. And then on top of that if you want to go to Elite V you are looking at 138 days of continuous flawless CQC play.
These numbers are absolutely nuts.
IMHO once you hit max prestige you should hit Elite V in CQC, it would still be a huge grind, but it would have the benefit of (1) making elite in CQC attainable and (2) a side effect of actually getting people to play more CQC to reach that now attainable goal.
What are your thoughts and is there any chance Frontier might consider this or something similar?
