It makes no sense that I'm literally paying for the same insurance as if the thing was destroyed. Like I get that I would have to pay my fines and bounties off but like a full on rebuy for a planetary death? Who in their right mind though this was a good idea? Now I have to pay 22mil just because I felt like doing something different that wasn't even close to worth the reward? If you want to make planetary content even remotely playable now you're going to have to increase the rewards by at least 4 times.
And for the people who don't know
When you die on foot the ship is impounded. In order to free that ship from impound you must pay an impound fee. the fee is the EXACT same price as a full rebuy! That's the entire point of my thread. The impound fee should not be this high.
I'm pretty sure the mechanic is working as intended and the cost of the impound fee is absolutely absurd thus my post.
