(Not my rant I’ll tag him in the comments)
Whats been happening a lot lately is these fucking morons jumping into public missions, and absolutely being the worst possible human beings on earth. Bombarding strangers they know little about with bullshit from boxing them in repeatedly, over and over again, screaming through the mics like fucking babies, and then often when they don't get their way, or even if they do, intentionally trying to ensure the missions fail by destroying people's structures or intentionally building so that husks can get to the objectives. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
None of these players ever contribute, they eat up the slots on public missions by existing and getting carried forward provided they aren't the usual dumbasses that leave even just 5 seconds before the mission completes, quite literally seen that 100's of times, and while it's good they didn't progress, it's bad for other reasons as well.
"but i'm a collector"… shut the fuck up, level up, proceed through the game, and slap that shit in the collection book then as an actual collection item, not the bullshit wannabe that you are with a piece of shit useless weapon stuffed into your ever shrinking and useless inventory that no one wants but you're primed to hock around and show off like it's gold when it's at best pyrite… absolutely no one gives a fuck, and anyone that might, simply is another lowbie that understandably doesn't know any better since they are just trying to get a grasp of the game, and when they are introduced to "traders", whom which, are likely to try and convince them to drop even their shitty gear just to take it away from them anyways leaving the new player with less than what they had, it breeds toxicity and utter disgust for the playerbase at an exponential rate.
And you bastards chucking 144 traps and guns at stonewood low level players any chance you get, are as fucking guilty, perpetually ensuring that some of these low lifes have something to brag about and show off and producing a prey and predator like behavoir as it's over 50% chance those that chuck such shit, are giving it to someone that is actively a trader or will soon be. And if they don't, well you've given a high level weapon that is fundamentally pointless to use in a low level zone along with wetting the appatite of the player and fundamentally removing their satisfaction of having been able to do shit entirely on their own and to better understand the mechanics. I've seen this shit happen for over 20 years since the birth of games that have pvp and pve, primarily something that is constantly a problem with MMORPGs for example soon after the game launches and people start rapidly climbing in gear…. those few people that run back to the start villages and give copious amounts of "help" to some of the beginning players which is more of a negative than anything, you know what kind of players that primarily produces? Useless ones, players that don't understand the mechanics of the game, get lazy, become dependent on others heavily, fail to use skills and time things poorly or some that just fundamentally don't even play their class properly period, but somehow these people still get drug along, much like the asshats that pile them into their party, do all their SSDs for them, and then get them setup with MSK weapons. You know what's fucking absurd, a pwlvl fucking 9 player with msk weapons, all of them…. talk about giving some kid an oversized head, there are still veteran players out there that are actively working for their own that still haven't got them all, and they are putting in maximum effort without asking to be carried for it.
It's amazing how many people's real life personalities and underlying "being" is mirrored in the game… pathetic.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
First I'd like to say I absolutely love this game it's quality. Basically I first…
