Was just wondering about what core mechanic we don't have in Gwent, and this may be done before but I've forgotten.
This would ideally be a card like Ciri: Nova or Sunset Warriors that can form many different playstyles depending on the faction but retain its core functionality.
But this card would be different as it would have a unique effect depending on faction.
For example, its main draw may be to enable a certain type of playstyle, but depending on the faction it may have unique effects. I usually picture a Dandelion card to have such an effect. Dandelion is the series' straight man (of sorts) and has interesting dynamics with different characters, and so:
for MO, it may be to summon/create a Geralt card to save him so it would buff the Geralt card too
for NR, it may be some Priscilla synergy and play around with that
And so on.
Haven't fully fleshed out the concept, but these kinds of neutrals which have dynamic playstyles within different factions intrigue me, so I'd be interested in such a card. Essentially, I love the addition of the new Triss and Yen cards as they too enable more synergies depending per faction.
So if Dandelion ever got his Journey, I'd love a fun card like this.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
