With development for consoles finishing, can we talk about the UI?

Frontier has often cited the need to adapt Elite's UI to be suitable for console use, but since that particular arc is ending, what can we do to the UI to make it more useful for operating hundreds of millions of credits of ship, or running a multi-billion credit business?

My first suggestion would be to enable the entering of numeric values, basically anywhere, but certainly in terms of cargo transfers/transactions, setting credit values in Fleet Carrier Markets, or transferring money between commander and carrier.

Also, with users able to use larger resolutions and PC human input devices, we can make buttons smaller, placing more information and functionality on the screen. Station menus can be richer, we can add functionality (direct transfer of tritium from storage to the fuel system, for example). And we could undo the dreadful changes to the Administrative contact that were made for Odyssey, where for some unfathomable reason "wing trade vouchers" were accorded higher priority than bounties.

What are your suggestions?
