Considering all the interesting factions/player groups that could exist I'm surprised we don't have it.
This is how I see it. Most agree there is a lot of grind, and these new groups could serve to cut down specific grinds for a premium, which would create it's own market since you could specialize in one grind, to earn billions to pay for the services of other specializations making a trade-off to suit your play-style.
One notable side-effect is players will be able to accelerate to the end game, but imo the end-game holds up extremely well, to my knowledge most will log 1000's of hours in it (I definitely will), so I don,t see a problem there. Imo the end-game is the most engaging form of the game. The progression stage is great, but this idea would give us some degree of control on the throttle of that chapter, and it would foster more multiplayer activity.
Another consequence is there will be opportunity to "work" for player groups essentially like doing missions for the BGS, and with dedicated full facility FC's, coordinated in their respective alignment/occupations, we could build our own bubbles wherever we please.
Notably fun examples;
Sirius Savings and Loans "-Financing the Future-"
Pilots Warehouse -"You're gonna like the way it flies, we guarantee it-"
MatsDash "-When you run out, we run to you-"
MercTemp "-Hire a bigger stick-"
Port1 Imports "-Artifacts for the AX-"
