Best (or worst)WTF moment I had was on my first playthrough, I knew absolutely nothing about the game, since I prefer to learn as I go. I finally got the second boat…(karve?) was exploring looking around, I shit you not, the wind was actually in my sails. I was cruising through a river in the Black Forrest, and of course, the fog came in. So, I slowed down a bit, but the channel was pretty wide. All of a sudden the word "PLAINS" appeared on my screen and 5 seconds later, I ran aground on a sand bar. Since I was just chilling in my boat, I hadn't eaten anything in like 2 days. No matter what I tried I couldn't get off the sandbar. So I jumped out of my boat, figured I'd go find some stuff on the "PLAINS" to make a hoe and dig myself out. I didn't get that far….zzzt…YOU HAVE DIED.
WTF was that???

Good thing was my boat was still there when I reached it on my raft about 4 days later…
Bad thing so was the deathsquito…vigilant bastard made me give on ever recovering that boat or the raft, or the ultra precious first load of ore I had mined…
Please feel free to tell me your WTF moments…it helps to talk about trauma, or so I've been told.
