Using my trusty mining tool, I rocked up with a python full of painite/palladium/platinum going for a decent score on the 120 tons of platinum at the very least only to find normal market prices. Well, about 5k over Galactic average, but not the 280k suggested.
Oh well, I thought, I'll head to another that was about 2 minitues old on the tool.
Same story. I then went to 3 more places that had great prices for at least one of my carried commodities and they were all around the norm. This got me thinking that it is very unlikely this tool isn't working, but I needed to be sure.
I sold up, went home and changed into my super diamondback taxi, armed with two different tools I randomly visited 10 places that should have had super high prices for one of various mined commodities. Not one of them did.
I then went back home and took out my type 10 and started on a trade loop of 6 planets around me whilst I pondered and mourned the loss of my ability to top up billions by mining.
I suddenly noticed if been going around for hours on the same year loop, but I was still making the same money with no real degrading of the markets. Now this is not very Ed at all.
So could it be? Did the xbox get its background sim cut away or even frozen in time from the pc version??
4 days since this dawned on me and I'm still making 20 mil every 45 minutes from the same trade run playing about the same time each night for about 3 hours. Any one else observed this?
Have I been at the onion head?
