I just caught a guy in the middle of a field and he had no stamina. I was shooting snb with an svd. I zeroed to 100m he was 128m. I put in on his face and unloaded a 20 round mag while he stood completely still. As I was shooting I went a little high then I went a little low. I tried dead on his face and pure chest shots all the while this guy stood completely still assuming he was done for. At the end of the match I hit him 3 times.
I have over 6000 hours in this game. I am not new to shooting in tarkov. Currently with the new velocity system zeroing does not work. I'm not sure if it's with specific sights or guns but it is inconsistent and shooting is extremely untrustworthy at longer ranges. I am not basing this off of a one time event. This has been an issue all wipe.
I know they tweaked velocity because some bullets were unable to headset at long ranges. That is not the issue I am discussing. I am saying these bullets aren't hitting at all when zero'd at proper ranges.
I had a friend doing shooter born in heaven. He has completed that quest like 6 times and this time he was having tons of trouble. He said he stopped zeroing to 100 and it was like night and day. I would love to hear others feedback.

I've also noticed this. No matter what weapon or ammo I'm using, even if I'm zeroing using the Raptar rangefinder, the bullets consistently hit high. If I stay at the default zeroing distance, shots hit up to 150m away
