I would like to present a solution to the pathfinder problem. At this point, lots of path mains are frustrated with his current state, given his grapple nerf back in season 5. It's kind of a controversial topic in the community, so I think it should be addressed somehow.
It is clear that respawn does not like the fact that you can enter and exit fights effortlessly, so they upped his cooldown, which is sort of a good response to the problem. Now, path mains have to think and preserve their grapple for fights. Although this is an alright solution, many paths agree that it made the character not fun to play, so I present my own solution:
> Grapple cooldown is now 20-25 sec, but your grapple now has casting time: when pressing the grapple button, you stand still in place for 1 – 1.5 seconds before grappling. Initial pulling force of the grapple (velocity at which you are pulled to it; initial means first second or so) is lowered by 20 – 25%.
I believe that this will be a good change, as it prevents paths from using the grapple as a get-out-of-jail-free card and encourages using it as a repositioning tool. Respawn makes the change they wanted to make (no easy escape ability), and path mains get to enjoy the grapple in its (partially) full former glory. I think this solution is in-style with how Respawn dealt with similar problems recently, primarily the Wraith rework: casting time is increased and movement speed during said casting time is decreased, so hopefully the pathfinder rework (if it ever comes) will be something similar to this.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
