I want to start of by saying I have invested a lot of time and energy into Apex Legends, and have been playing since launch up until now. That being said, I think I can give my honest opinion on a massive flaw in this game. That is the excessive 3rd partying of fights. I completely understand that battle royale is all about being the last one standing and fighting others or hiding is a common strategy but the mechanics in this game make it near impossible to play. For starters if I am at capacitor, people shouldn’t be able to hear me fighting from the cage, but sadly this is how it is. You can hear gunfights from millions of miles away. Just yesterday, me and my friend started a simple fight in capacitor with another team, and after we kept exchanging shots and healing, we decided to just leave for a bit and come back. Immediately after, we see the squad we were previously fighting getting pushed and pushed by everyone, and eventually I kid you not that cycle kept happening and happening in that exact same area, people fighting, other third parties hearing the fight, them pushing, and so on the whole entire game while me and my friend just stood back watching until it was just us and another squad. We then just immediately pushed them while they were low and won the game exactly where we started off from. I get third partying is a common strat in BR’s, but for the game to get to the level of this where a fight starts in one place and ends in the exact same place because of the people pushing from all across the map is unacceptable. Either EA needs to fix the sound in the game, or they should find a way to completely stop any third partying because currently, this game is unplayable and I am quitting until further notice. Any thoughts?
